How Marketing Will Change in 2019

Marketing trends are constantly changing as the world and its people evolve. With the continued roll-out of new and updated technology, the tech world is never stuck at a standstill. As the years go by, we must learn how to adapt and strategize in order to keep up with the newest trends in marketing. In 2019, we can expect a lot of changes.

Voice Searches

As we talked about before in our blog titled “How Voice Search is Changing SEO,” SEO is beginning to transition to voice search. With that being said, more people will begin searching for answers to their questions via Amazon Alexa or Google Home devices, and this may cause conversions to your websites to be lower because people are able to find answers without lifting a finger to visit the website. Refer back to our blog to find out how to optimize voice searches for your website.

Blogging Won’t Work

There are about 1.8 billion sites on the web, and roughly 1 billion of those are blogs. Google certainly does not have a shortage of content, so they can pick and choose whether or not to rank your website/blog. Rather than writing tons of content, focus on keeping the content up to date. That way, when people search the newest crazes or trends, you will already have it covered.

Try YouTube!

YouTube is much less competitive than the extensive amount of information that Google occupies. Although it is important, don’t put all your focus into Google; try YouTube as well! Creating content on YouTube does not require a fancy camera or a studio. All it takes is a webcam or a decent mobile camera, at the least. People will love the interaction with more authentic content!

We hope that these tips for the ever-changing marketing world will help your website to stay up-to-date and relevant as 2019 progresses.
