Greenville, NC - The countdown is on! Red Shark Digital, Greenville’s leading digital marketing agency, is thrilled to announce their annual Shark Week celebration, taking place July 20–28, 2025. This week-long event is a tribute to the cultural phenomenon airing on Discovery Channel and a chance for the team to showcase their workplace spirit, community involvement, and creative energy.

Offering an in-depth look into shark biology, behavior, and gripping survival tales, Shark Week has been captivating audiences since its debut in 1988 on the Discovery Channel. Over the years, Shark Week’s worldwide success and partnerships with Oceana and the World Wildlife Fund have helped raise money for ocean conservation initiatives and research. Shark Week 2025 premieres on Sunday, July 20, at 8 p.m., and the Red Shark Digital team will be waiting to kick off their own week of celebration.

Donning a new, custom Shark Week logo to commemorate this year’s events, Red Shark Digital will celebrate their Shark Week 2025 Spirit Week from Monday, July 21 - Monday, July 28. The action-packed week includes dress-up themes for each day, team-building activities, contests, low-key luncheons, and a group tattoo excursion. The team will also be making stops at some local Greenville and Kinston businesses to lend a helping hand and show up for their ENC neighbors. (See schedule below for details.)

“It’s exciting to see Shark Week making a comeback but this time, it’s more than just a few social posts,” said Alex Kettler, Associate Creative Director. “In the past, it felt like an internal spirit week. This year, we’ve turned it into a full-on event. For the branding, we leaned into a more approachable, fun vibe - less digital polish, more personality.”

This year’s celebration will also feature the first-ever RSD Shark Tank Challenge, where a select few team members will pitch their funniest, most innovative, or most unhinged marketing campaign ideas in a Shark Tank-style showdown. Voting will be open throughout the week, with the final winner announced on Friday, July 25.
