Introducing: Eriq Moore, Web Development Intern

Hi! My name is Eriq Moore, and I am the Web Development Intern here at Red Shark Digital a digital marketing agency in North Carolina. I’m from Greenville, NC, born and raised, and I’ve always been drawn to tech, design, and anything that lets me build something from the ground up.

I graduated from Pitt Community College with a degree in IT Support and Web Design, I’m currently finishing up my bachelor's degree in Software Development at WGU, and I’m super excited to take what I’ve learned and put it into action with such a creative and talented team!

Journey So Far

Let’s just say my path to web development wasn’t exactly a straight line but it’s been a fun one.

In middle school, I was the kid editing videos for fun, tinkering with hardware, building computers, you name it. By high school, I was building websites from scratch and falling in love with digital design. I’ve always been hooked on the creative side of tech bringing ideas to life, solving problems, and learning new tools along the way. Whether I’m working on a personal project or part of a team, I just enjoy figuring things out.

Now, as part of the team at Red Shark Digital, I’m finally getting to do what I love in a real-world setting. Every day is a chance to learn something new, sharpen my skills, and contribute to projects that help real businesses grow.

Likes:

  • Problem Solving: Tackling technical challenges by troubleshooting issues, debugging software or hardware diagnosis, and finding solutions across various areas of technology.
  • Music: I work best with music playing in the background, especially lofi. It helps me focus, stay in flow, and power through tasks more efficiently.
  • Video Games: I enjoy playing video games because they’re fun and help me think strategically. It’s a good way to relax after working on tech projects.
  • Continuous Learning: I love staying updated on trends and best practices in tech.

Dislikes:

  • Slow wifi: Because waiting 10 seconds for a page to load in 2025 gives me flashbacks to my early memories of dial-up.
  • Onions: Pretending to be invisible in food…not cool.
  • Dev Tool Bugs: Browser dev tools freezing mid-debug is the universe’s way of saying, ‘Take a break… or panic quietly.

Final Thoughts

I’m excited about this new opportunity at Red Shark Digital to grow my skills, tackle real challenges, and contribute to web design projects that make an impact. Being part of such a creative and driven team will motivate me to push my limits and keep learning. Let’s create something amazing together!
