Hey everyone! My name is Ray Waddell, and I am the new copywriting intern at Red Shark Digital, the go-to company for digital marketing in Greenville, NC. I am currently a junior at East Carolina University, majoring in film and video production. I was born and raised in Elizabeth City, NC, with two strict but loving parents. From the time I was a child, I aspired to be a film producer/movie director.

My Hobbies:

• I love to watch movies whenever possible. Watching a movie I have never seen before is such a thrilling experience because I do not know if it will end up being one of my favorite films. Going to the theater is also a big hobby of mine. Whenever a new movie comes out I am one of the first to watch it on the big screen!
• I find myself writing screenplays and articles for fun daily. The thought of creating a TV series in the future inspires me so much that I start writing screenplays for hours on hours!
• Listening to different genres of music gives me the same thrill as watching a movie I have never seen before! R&B, rap, and soul tend to be my favorites, but I like to diversify my taste to fully appreciate the vast world of music.

My Favorites:

• I have a long list of movies I consider cinematic masterpieces, but my all-time favorite is “Goodfellas” directed by Martin Scorsese.
• My favorite TV series will forever be “Breaking Bad". Walter White/Heisenberg is one of the best and most complex characters in TV history.
• My favorite current musical artists are Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino, and Chance The Rapper. My favorite band is Queen, led by the late great Freddie Mercury.
