Community Crossroads Center
Housing and food insecurity often go hand in hand, especially here in eastern North Carolina. To combat this issue within the community, Red Shark Digital is an active participant in the Bagged Lunch Initiative. This program provides simple and healthy meals to residents of Community Crossroads Center, Pitt County's only emergency homeless shelter. As of 2023, Red Shark Digital has provided one hundred and fifty bagged lunches to those in need.
Greenville Museum of Art
An agency full of creatives, the arts are important to our team. Red Shark Digital is a proud partner of the Greenville Museum of Art and regularly sponsors the museum’s community events like Summer Shindig and Fashion on Display. The proceeds of these events go directly towards the museum, helping to keep entry free and the arts accessible.
Greenville-Pitt County Chamber
At Red Shark Digital, one of our core beliefs is that everyone deserves opportunities, no matter their background. That’s why we’ve partnered with the Greenville-Pitt County Chamber for community learning initiatives like the Teen Leadership Institute and Grow Local. These programs work in tandem to help educate students in the area on available career paths by meeting with various businesses, organizations, colleges, and professionals in the city. Whether we’re hosting an office tour or heading out for a field trip to a local high school, these events are some of our favorites to attend. Not only do they help students bridge the gap from graduation to job acquisition, but they often funnel local talent right back into the community, reminding us why we do what we do.
Empty Pink Chair Project
Red Shark Digital is proud to sponsor the Empty Pink Chair Project, a North Carolina-based initiative that aims to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and funds for women struggling to afford breast cancer treatment. A hand-painted pink chair in each sponsor's business serves as a reminder that, without life-saving screenings and treatment, a family member's chair could soon sit empty.
Pitt County Athletics
As part of our ongoing commitment to the community, we’re excited to say we currently sponsor five children’s basketball teams within Pitt County Athletics. Our support goes directly toward the children’s equipment, uniforms, and any other expenses the Red Sharks may need. Investing in local sports not only helps provide a safe space for local children to exercise but also encourages skill-building in teamwork, dedication, and strategy-all while fostering friendships and memories for life.
