Key Features of Project

We launched a brand new website for Community Crossroads Center, Pitt County's emergency shelter. Community Crossroads Center's mission is "Transforming lives to end homelessness in our community one person at a time." With such an important mission, the shelter needed a website that made it easy for people to donate and learn more about the shelter and its values. This rebuild consisted of making the shelter's information easily readable and accessible. The previous site held outdated information and felt quite cluttered with text, some pages having a seemingly never-ending scroll of text and images that were not properly formatted.

The new site features a sleek, clean font, responsive and organized content, a census counter, and a donation thermometer widget. Donation buttons are present across the site, so users can navigate to Community Crossroads Center's PayPal at the click of a button. The new site is an altogether better platform for a changing center with changing needs.
